Erika J. Cardona G. Was born in Colombia, where she studied at the "Debora Arango" Higher Technological School of Arts, carrying out technical studies in the area of Musical Production, and technological studies in the area of Musical Management and Instrumental Interpretation. Her undergraduate studies were carried out at the University of Antioquia obtaining the title of Bachelor of Basic Education with Emphasis in Artistic and Cultural Education. In 2012 Erika received the full Chinese Government CSC scholarship for Master's degrees in Music Direction at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music under the guidance of director Zhang Rui (2013-2016). . Subsequently, he obtained a full scholarship from the local government of the city of Shanghai with which he completed his doctorate studies in Contemporary Music Research under the guidance of Professor Han ZhongEn (2016-2019). During this time, he won several local awards, including the outstanding award for international students in China. At the same time, he founded and directed The Voice of the World Choir (2014) and the ShangYin Contemporary Music Ensemble CM2 (2017). His areas of interest are music direction and composition, music education and the establishment of music dialogues between Latin America and China. He has actively participated in important musicology conferences and concerts internationally.
