BASES OF THE CONTEST

All works must be personal, original and unpublished. And it should not be presented or have been previously presented in other contests, websites or any other digital or printed medium. This includes the rights of editing and / or reproduction in any way, be assigned to or promised to third parties. Similarly, none of the works may constitute a copy or plagiarism of other works, own or by other artists.

The participation in the contest is completely free and has no intermediaries who can say otherwise.

The participation is open to any Colombian or legal resident who is in Colombia at the time of the call process and the presentation of the works (proof can be requested).

The works must be created during the time of the quarantine in Colombia. We urge participants to be honest and present only the creations done in this time period.

One work per person will be accepted in each category.

The submission of the works will be done through the following email address: concursoeresarte@outlook.com

Two files will be sent:
1) the name of the file will be: ¨Specific category and subcategory + title of the work + pseudonym + modality (amateur or professional) ¨ Attached should be the creation with one will participate in the contest.
2) File called ¨Information¨, which contains: the title of the work, the pseudonym, surnames, name, city of completion of the work, department, contact telephone number, cell phone and email address.

It is considered modality A, amateur, those who have not had any official study of the area to which they apply, and yet have interest and have learned through unofficial virtual means, books, family tradition and / or observation. It is considered modality B, professional, those with specific knowledge from formal educational processes in any educational institution.

The author will retain universal authorship rights over the work presented.

The simple fact of participating in the contest implies knowledge and acceptance of these terms and conditions. Failure by a participant to comply with all the requirements and information required in these rules will invalidate the presentation of the prize without the right to any claim. Likewise, it also implies the acceptance of the interpretation made by the jury, which is empowered to resolve any issue unforeseen about the work, and whose ruling will be indisputable.

The winning works and finalist will remain under the organization’s ownership, which may make use of them, as it deems appropriate and without time limit, including publication, especially through the website concursoeresarte@outlook.com, always stating the author's name.

The organization declines all responsibility for losses or deteriorations that may occur in the process of sending the works. Likewise, it is not responsible for possible breaches of authorship rights by the contestants, but relies on their honesty.

Awards: The number of winners will depend on the budget obtained by the sponsors. Minimum there will be one winner per subcategory. No categories will be declared void unless no one has submitted works for a specific subcategory. The jury may establish the honourable mentions it deems appropriate.

Non-awarded creations will not be returned but will be eliminated from the database.

The contest reserves the right to modify the composition of the jury, without expression of cause, just by modifying their names on the web, prior to the period of qualification of the works.

The data provided will be kept as long as the commercial relationship is maintained or for the years necessary to comply with legal obligations. The data will not be transferred to third parties except in cases where there is a legal obligation. The Eres Arte Council is processing your personal data so the winners have the right to access their personal data, rectify inaccurate data or request its deletion when the data is no longer necessary.
